They used it as a pagan worship stone and it has been here ever since; in the middle of our building and the settlement which became what we know as the village of South Zeal.

We offer a proper plated Sunday Lunch service (not a carvery) which is served in either our 1477 Bar, Standing Stone Snug, The Oak Dining Room, or The Monastery Restaurant also on the patio or in our gardens.
Children are welcome if accompanied at all times by grown-ups and dogs on leads are welcome in our bar and gardens.

You will have 5 years experience or more and capable and conversant wih modern freshly sourced menus and techniques.
Our food is modern British / English though with a great heritage and historic twist.
You will be working in a team of 5, straight or split shifts are possible.
Work either 4 or 5 days per week on a permanent monthly salary.
This can be either a salaried role or hourly paid offering an excellent salary and benefits package.
You will have 5 years experience or more and capable and conversant wih modern freshly sourced menus and techniques.
Our food is modern British / English though with a great heritage and historic twist.
You will be working in a team of 5, straight or split shifts are possible.
