Situated on the Isle of Wight, one of England's sunniest locations, the Hambledon Hotel in Shanklin offers you great accommodation, friendly service and excellent cuisine. Bill, Jackie and family extend a warm welcome to all those staying at the Hambledon Hotel, Shanklin. Our aim is to provide friendly attentive service, comfortable well appointed accommodation and an excellent standard of food and drink.

We are open for holidays and short breaks for the whole family, and children of any age are welcome. The Hambledon Hotel, situated in Shanklin, on the picturesque Isle of Wight, is only yards away from the famous cliff path, which offers beautiful walks to both Ventnor and Sandown along the cliff tops. From here, there is also access to the safe and sandy Shanklin beaches below, via lift or path.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Shanklin Old Village and Shanklin Chine, as well as the shops of the main town. A private off road car park is available for all hotel guests. The hotel, open March to October, is a haven for families visiting the Isle of Wight during the summer season and equally popular with walkers in the Spring, Autumn and Winter.

Our all inclusive prices include en-suite accommodation, choice of half board or bed and breakfast and return Isle of Wight car ferry (Red Funnel or Wightlink).
It couldn't be simpler.
We arrange the Ferry booking for you.
We then provide you with a refrence number to pick up your tickets when you arrive at the ferry terminal.
One of the joys of a holiday on the Isle of Wight is the short ferry crossing to the Island.
Relax and enjoy the onboard refreshments or go up deck and take in the views of the Solent.

All bedrooms are ensuite and include a private shower and toilet, tea and coffee facilities, colour TV and radio.
We accept bookings for any period of time, commencing on any day of the week.
Bookings commence at 1pm on the day of arrival and terminate after breakfast on the day of departure.
NOTE: Special Break Prices are per person & based on a minimum of two people travelling in one car.
The lounge area is a comfortable and spacious room where guests can relax at any time of the day.
Whether it is in the morning whilst reading the newspapers, or in the evening after an event filled day sampling the many attractions that the Isle of WIght has to offer, the lounge area is always available to use however you wish.
The bar area is a warm, relaxing part of the hotel where guests can sit and enjoy a drink or two after a fun packed day out.
It is a great area to unwind and spend the evening socialising with the family or with the other hotel guests.
Whatever the duration of your stay, food is sure to be of the utmost importance.

From breakfast through to dinner we aim to please every one of our guests day after day.
Breakfast and evening dinner are served in our newly refurbished, bright and attractive dining room where guests can enjoy all that is best in generous home cooking, prepared and served by your resident proprietors.
All of our food is cooked fresh on the day it is served and wherever possible we use local produce and seasonal vegetables.
