The menu is so extensive it is hard to know what to have but I settled for a beautiful piece of steak with the best fries I have ever tasted.
After a long walk along the beach we went back for a memorable cream tea in the afternoon sun.
The crab and smoked fishcakes were wonderful and the cakes are beautiful to look at and eat!.
If you go nowhere else on the Island go to the Vernon Cottage.

All of the meals were lovely, but a special mention goes to the Steak and Ale Pie for actually being the best we have ever tasted, and also to the carrot cake.
