Elystan is decorated in Victorian Reds and is mainly used as a double room but it is possible to fit in another bed for a child or to convert the room to a twin.
There are beautiful views from this room looking out over the River Ithon and surrounding hillside.
The room is named after Elystan Glodrydd, the welsh King of Radnorshire who was born in the year 927.

The Lion Hotel restaurant is the only one in the village of Llanbister serving pub classics from Sausage and chips to Lasagna etc.

They also have access to our private fishing rights on the river Ithon which is below the Hotel.
Cycle hire or horse riding can easily be arranged and we can advise on transport if quests are interested in the two local National Trails, Offa's Dyke footpath and Glyndwrs Way.
