Services
Since 2011, The Lamb has been in the hands of the our family, The Newbons, led by myself, Martin, and my Father, Lee, with the help and support from my brothers Andy and Robin.
When my Dad's retirement coincided with my qualification as a chef, we saw this as a green light to put our passion for quality food to good use, and bit the bullet to buy The Lamb.
I was dedicated to the restaurant trade, and my Dad had always had a yearning to run a pub in West Sussex, having entertained in London for many years, so our 'have-a-go' attitude was deployed for this new chapter for our family, and for the village.
Whether you're tucked up next to the roaring inglenook fire in winter, enjoying the sunshine in our terraced garden, or taking a well deserved break in one of the gorgeous hotel rooms, The Lamb is a gastro pub in West Sussex that you can truly feel at home in.
Full of charm and comfort, this beautiful building first opened its doors to the people of Angmering and beyond in 1775, and continues to be a well loved focal point of the village today.

We are lucky here at The Lamb at Angmering, we are a privately owned free house and all of our family have a love of good wines.
During our ownership of this lovely old Inn, we have had the freedom to speak to numerous wine merchants and individuals who have 'rocked our boat'.
From our discussions, tastings and opinions we have put together an interesting wine list that should offer good choices for all budgets.
We constantly add and remove wines according to cost and popularity.
The joy of discovering a wine that is well priced and 'drinks well' makes the evening that much more enjoyable.
