Lizzie and Paul welcome you to Nurses Cottage in Warningcamp, which is situated within the South Downs National Park overlooking the Arun valley and the historic town of Arundel. Nurses Cottage was built in the 1930's for the local district nurse. Various additions & improvements have been made over the years, the most recent of which we completed in 2012 to extend our accommodation and create two stylish & comfortable double rooms with en-suite shower facilities.
This beautiful part of the country has so much to offer, and we'd love to provide your base for exploring the seaside and the South Downs as well as the many local amenities.

Services
We're lucky enough to be perched above & overlooking the Arun Valley with a half acre meadow behind the house leading down to a seasonal stream that runs towards the river.
As part of our work in extending the house in 2012, we incorporated sustainable & renewable energy technology to help reduce our impact on the environment and reliance on fossil fuels.
In recent years we've started growing our own summer fruits & vegetables and our own chickens now provide deliciously fresh eggs for breakfast.

Glass Bottles & Filtered Tap-Water - to reduce single-use plastic waste, we provide guests with glass flip-top bottles, which we fill with filtered tap-water.
Homegrown & Locally-Sourced Food - our own organically-fed chickens provide eggs for breakfast and our seasonal soft fruit is freshly picked or frozen and used to make compote for the winter & spring months.
Local Arundel shops provide many other breakfast ingredients.
Solar PV - 18 Schott panels on our SE and SW-facing roofs generate electricity that we either use or feed-back into the power grid.
