The Wayside is a beautifully renovated hidden gem in an idyllic, secluded location in the Western Lake District, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overlooked by the magnificent Black Combe Fell, and beach access is just a short walk away. The spacial and characterful rooms include stunning exposed beams and stone and all with en-suite bathrooms, offer a relaxing stay, with "home away from home" feel.

Services
Windermere is a self-contained building attached to the Cottage with a separate entrance.
The room boasts a very comfortable king size bed with a state of the art Tempur Cloud mattress, white cotton bedding all home laundered, oak beams, and oak flooring, high quality furnishings throughout, cast iron radiators, and exposed stonework and a large flat screen television fixed on the wall opposite the bed.
Leading off the bedroom and up two oak steps is the bathroom also with exposed stonework and a large cast iron bath with a shower attachment, dressing gowns, slippers and Noble Isle toiletries available in the room.
The room boasts a very comfortable king size bed with a state of the art Tempur Cloud mattress, white cotton bedding all home laundered, oak beams, and oak flooring, high quality furnishings throughout, cast iron radiators, and exposed stonework and a large flat screen television fixed on the wall opposite the bed.

Wasdale is a spacious twin bedroom with high beamed ceilings, two black iron single beds, fresh home laundered cotton bedding, original features, cast iron radiators and good quality furnishings.
You can enjoy the view over Black Combe in comfort whilst relaxing on the oak window seat, the view is beautiful, especially when the sun sets.
The small window at the top of the room lets light in from the sun which then radiates an orange glow throughout the room.
The ensuite bathroom has a large bath and an over the bath shower, Noble Isle toiletries and underfloor heating with two feature windows and a Velux.
You can enjoy the view over Black Combe in comfort whilst relaxing on the oak window seat, the view is beautiful, especially when the sun sets.
The small window at the top of the room lets light in from the sun which then radiates an orange glow throughout the room.
