Finished to a very high standard, Granary & Rose Cottages retain many of the original features of the original 18th Century Barn. Original roof trusses, a brick dovecote and original pantiles, all helping to highlight the character of this wonderful homely building.
The cottages were renovated and finished in 2010. Since then we have had many satisfied people stay with us. We are in Rillington, which is a small, unspoilt village just 5 miles from Malton and 20 miles from York in a quiet valley lying between the North Yorkshire Moors and the undiscovered rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds.
The village comprises of country cottages and working farms, there is a Post Office and General Store, Fish & Chip Shop, our Local Butcher, a church, The Coach & Horses and The Fleece public houses are all within a 5 minute walk from the cottages.The cottages were converted by award winning Kent Building Developments Ltd and have a number of energy saving features built in.

French doors lead out on to the stone paved patio area which is south facing and secluded.
Garden furniture provides options for relaxed outdoor meals or simply to read a book.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, washer/drier and is fully kitted out with crockery and general cooking requirements.
Bed linen, towels and a welcome pack containing a few essentials (plus a couple of treats!) are provided so that you don't have to pack anything other than what you need for your holiday.

Granary Cottage is a luxury 2 storey cottage that can accommodate 2 to 8 people comfortably in the 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have an adjoining en-suite bathroom as well as an additional family bathroom.
You can request either double bed or twin options.
