Welcome to the rural heart of North Yorkshire - to Ryedale, Malton and our home village of Slingsby. Our two holiday cottages, the Arches and the Stables, provide the ideal base for touring, walking, cycling and exploring the many picturesque villages, stately homes and attractions of the region. In Slingsby you will find a farm shop, children's play park, and a pub serving home cooked food.
Nearby are the market towns of Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley, while York and the East Coast are also within easy reach. Each self-catering cottage is furnished to a very high standard, with all the facilities necessary to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Wifi and telephone are available in both cottages. The accommodation has been sympathetically converted from old farm buildings, providing a cosy and well maintained home from home.
In addition, both the cottages are on ground floor level, with easy access. We have put enhanced cleaning protocols in place and have received the Good to Go accreditation from Visit England.

It is furnished to a very high standard with quality furniture, phone and Wifi, widescreen TV with Freeview, Video / DVD player and a well-equipped kitchen.
The Stables holiday cottage is full of the kind character and original charm you might expect from a converted farm building.

Fantastic cottage with everything you could wish for.
Loved the conservatory & garden as we had beautiful weather.
The cottage is well situated with easy access to York, Malton, North Yorkshire moors & east coast.
We were especially grateful for complimentary coffee as Sainsburys brought a delivery just after we arrived but didn't have our coffee - thanks Rachel!
First class accommodation, a great area to explore with loads to do.
We were made to feel really welcome.
Only 3.5 miles from Castle Howard, 6 miles from Malton, 17 miles from York, 12 miles from Pickering and North Yorkshire Moors steam railway, 8 miles from Eden Camp, plus Whitby and Scarborough are close by, so something for everyone.
