The Howardian Hills covers 204 sq km (79 sq miles) of the North Yorkshire countryside, nestled between the Yorkshire Wolds and the Vale of York. It is a unique and captivating landscape with its well-wooded rolling countryside, patchwork of arable and pasture fields, scenic villages and historic country houses with classic parkland landscapes.
We are ideally located - 10 miles north of York, 3 miles from Castle Howard, 45 minutes drive from the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, and an hour's drive from the coast - Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Bridlington, Robin Hood's Bay, Sand's End to name a few.A perfect place to base yourself while visiting the lovely area North Yorkshire has to offer, or if you wanted to just go for a walk through the woods or relax in the beautiful garden - it's up to you!
The Ebor Way & Centenary Way walks pass the house, so it is an ideal place to stop off, relax and break up your journey. The quality of the food was excellent, and the children loved that they had collected the eggs they were eating themselves.
