Set in the heart of Parkstone, The Ox has a natural buzz - with a first class kitchen serving outstanding food, a great bar offering a selection of premium beers, fine kept ales, brilliant wines and a stunning boutique hotel with 14 en-suite double rooms. This is the 'place to be' on the south coast of England. Great Thai restuarant. Welcoming, attentive and helpful staff serving a wide range of very tasty dishes.
Most of the menu is Thai with dishes ranging from mild to quite hot plus a few traditional english dishes like steaks. Our second visit lived up to the expectations of the first. The food was delicious and authentic Thai and came at a price that was surprising. The venue is comfortable and the service was really good with the waitress having a good knowledge of the dishes available.
We look forward to our next visit. I'd call it a boutique hotel attached to a stunning bar and restaurant. They are so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything you need for a short stay (it's not a palace so don't expect that).
