Located in one of Europe's last wildernesses, and in the least populated ward in the European Union, it is not surprising that internet connections and mobile phone signals at Eddrachilles Hotel can be challenging.
However, we now have our own fibre optic line to help you keep in touch.
From Spring 2021 we have WiFi in all bedrooms and public areas, except the dining room.
Badcall was not included in the Government's programme to bring broadband to the Highlands hence the need to self-fund.
The internet speeds may still be slower than you are used to at home, particularly if you live in a city or the suburbs.

Our food is prepared from fresh and, where possible, local ingredients by our chefs.
For dinner we offer a table d'hote menu which changes each day.
You may choose either a three or four course option; both include home made bread, our chef's tasting choice, and tea or coffee with hand-made chocolates.
The table d'hote menu changes daily and usually includes three starter options (one of which will be vegetarian), four main options (one meat or game, one seafood/fish, one vegetarian, and a special), and three desserts or Northern Highlands cheese plate.

Table d'Hote menu literally means "host's table" menu.
Traditionally this meant a single table where guests dined with the owners at a set time and for a fixed price with few, if any, choices on the menu.
Nowadays there are several interpretations of a Table d'Hote.
At Eddrachilles, we typically seat our guests at one of two times but we offer separate or group tables as preferred.
Each sitting is, however, served at broadly the same time and at leisurely pace as befits good, cooked to order, food.
