Dating back to the Jacobite era, the Arisaig Hotel was originally built as a coaching inn and almost three hundred years on, the hotel is still open for business offering travellers the perfect base to recharge, reconnect and escape to a true west-coast Highland wilderness. Every Tuesday night from 6pm the Crofter's Rest hosts an open music session led by legendary Tam the Banjo and an ever-changing group of professional musicians.
The session is fast-paced and the crowd are actively encouraged to grab an instrument off the wall or bring their own along and start playing.
