THE COACH HOUSE is situated 400 yards from the centre of the small 'Last of the Summer Wine' market town of Holmfirth. The town is home to many artists who live and work in the area and there are many festivals through-out the year. Holmfirth boasts a range of good pubs and restaurants from Asian/Oriental to English/European. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day when thousands flocked to the area to see the race and enjoy the stunning scenery.
So why not come to enjoy the area and try some of the route? Bicycles can be accommodated in a locked garage on request at owner's risk. This self-catering accommodation nestles in the foot hills of the South Pennines in the Holme Valley on the northern boundary of the Peak District National Park. The hills and valley offer great walks. The Pennine Way and Trans-Pennine Trail are close by.
THE COACH HOUSE - a Grade II Listed cottage was built at the beginning of the 19th century and is located in a private elevated position. The property is all on one floor but access is via a short flight of outdoor steps.
