Manor Mill Cottage is a 19th century cottage originally home for workers at the local corn mill. Now we are a friendly and welcoming bed and breakfast offering a high standard of comfort and service. We are surrounded by peaceful, pleasant countryside on the outskirts of the villages of Kirkburton and Highburton, but only 5 miles from Huddersfield and 8 miles from Wakefield.
For breakfast there is a varied choice, depending on the season, when possible we provide produce from our garden, hens and bees, our homemade preserves, bread and locally sourced products. There is a cosy guest lounge for those chilly evenings and in summer a relaxing garden to enjoy, weather permitting! Two of our rooms are en-suite, whilst a third has private facilities.
All rooms have tea making facilities, digital TV's and WiFi. Local attractions include the National Coal Mining Museum, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Holmfirth's Last of the Summer Wine Country and Huddersfield Narrow Canal. A little further to the National Media Museum in Bradford, the Hepworth Gallery, Wakefield and the Royal Armouries, Leeds, with York only an hour away.
