The traditional Melton Mowbray Cattle Market held every Tuesday is one we would highly recommend being the third oldest market recorded in the 1-85 Doomsday Book.
As the crow flies our farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation is situated in between Belvoir Castle and Barkestone-le-vale on Long Lane on the road between the A52 at Bottesford and Harby village.
From Grantham and A1: Exit the A52 at Bottesford and follow sign posts to Harby and Belvoir Castle.
After passing " Redmile Crossing", the lane leading to Woodside Farm is on the left after 0.8 miles.
From Newark: Take A1 South until turn off to Long Bennington.
In Long Bennington take first right turn at Newsagents and then first left until Bottesford.
