Built in traditional style to harmonise with the existing 19th century church (now converted to our home), Cloisters is situated in the village of Talmine on the beautiful Kyle of Tongue. Set in an acre of land amidst wild coastal scenery, it commands stunning views over Rabbit Islands and Eilan Nan Rn to the Orkneys beyond. The complex consists of three twin bedded en-suite rooms, one of which is designed for access and use by less abled guests (category 2 - assisted wheelchair access).
The rooms are finished to a high standard and are tastefully decorated and furnished. There is ample on site parking and well behaved house trained dogs are accepted. Wi-FI is also available. The non-smoking establishment is open all year. A choice of continental, vegetarian or full Scottish breakfast is served either in our dining room, or sun lounge overlooking Talmine Bay and islands.
A packed lunch can be provided by us if required (notice required). Lunches and evening meals are available at an excellent restaurant and bar within walking distance (approximately 5 minutes).
