A very warm welcome to Monkhouse Hill Lake District Cottages. Whether you're a couple, a family or a group, you'll find superbly designed cottages for a memorable break in the Northern Lakes. Once a 17th Century farmstead, Monkhouse Hill sits in 5 acres of landscaped grounds with woodland and lake features. Nine 'Gold Award' cottages have been formed from old and new buildings to create a picturesque courtyard.
Cumbrian craftsmen and contemporary Lakeland artists have created unique living spaces in the cottages, and a unique range of extras and services, including free membership of a superb hotel spa, are on offer for your stay. Our position on the border of the Northern Fells and the tranquil Eden Valley makes us ideally placed for exploring North and South Lakes as well as Hadrian's Wall and southern Scotland.

Full week bookings commence on Fridays unless otherwise shown.
Short breaks from either Frioday to Monday or Monday to Friday are available throughout the year.
All prices include bed linen, towels, hot water, central heating and electricity and VAT at 5%.
An Initial Payment of 100 for each 500 (or less) of the rental cost per cottage of your booking is due on booking.
For online bookings the first 100 of this Initial Payment will be taken within 24 hours by the booking system.
We will then take the rest (if any) of the Initial Payment and send you a confirmation by email.
