This 18th century farmhouse has been lovingly restored to establish superb farmhouse accommodation. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated with handmade Welsh oak furniture and luxurious bathrooms ensuring all guests have a memorable and relaxing stay.

With its lovely oak beams and log fires, it lies 3 miles from the historic market town of Dolgellau in the Snowdonia National Park. Established in 1986, this Bed & Breakfast business continues its high standard of customer care on which the owner Olwen has built her pride and reputation, which has won her many awards. Outstanding hospitality is her watchword.

Breakfast is served in a traditional stone-built living room amongst beautiful traditional furniture and fittings.
You can sit, relax and admire the magnificent Cader Idris mountain, which invites guests to explore its mountain lakes and hidden waterfalls.
If you're feeling energetic, you can climb to the summit!
An energetic 5 mile walk around Southern Snowdonia's highest peak (2,927 feet or 892m), taking in Llyn y Cader and Llyn Gafr.
A mostly level 6 mile circular walk.
The Cregennan Lakes are a gem - a hidden wonder of Wales, yielding stunning views of the Mawddach Estuary and Cader Idris.
Such are their beauty that the lakes have been featured in many TV adverts and films.
This stunning flat walk or cycle ride along a disused railway track goes from Dolgellau to Barmouth.
On the way is the RSPB wildlife centre.
Olwen is famous for her award winning breakfasts.
All produce is sourced locally and the variety in her five course breakfasts leave guests always asking for her Welsh recipes!
Evening meals: menus of local restaurants are available at the farmhouse, all within three miles.

Machynlleth, Tywyn, Fairbourne (the nearest) and Barmouth stations have direct trains from London and the West Midlands.

We nestle on the northern flank of Cader Idris in Southern Snowdonia, Wales, in the United Kingdon.
Beudy Uchaf self-catering cottage is situated in the picturesque setting of the majestic Cader Idris mountain.
This unique property was originally an old cow shed but has been extensively renovated to establish superb self-catering accommodation with a fully fitted modern kitchen, including washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, freezer etc, and an open-plan living room with a large central woodburner (3 bags of logs supplied) and French windows to the patio and garden.
