We have 3 rooms in the bed & breakfast, all ensuite. They include a small fridge with fresh milk and bottled water, freesat tv, free Wifi and tea & coffee making facilities. The bathrooms have heated towel rails so your fluffy towels will be nice and warm in the morning! Based in the pretty little town of Dolgellau we are ideally located for a huge variety of activities which include cycling, walking, horse riding, fishing, boating, climbing, and lots more.

We are Julie and Jan Peggs, the "new" owners of Plas Gwyn together with Rolo, our 10 year old Golden Retriever.
Moving from North Yorkshire, for me (Jan), this meant a very welcome end to of 12 years of commuting from Harrogate to London to work.
For Julie, the move brought to an end 12 years of working with teenagers with learning and behavioural difficulties.
For both of us, Dolgellau and Plas Gwyn is the next chapter in our lives, enabling us to spend time together in a wonderful part of the world at a less hectic pace and meeting a great bunch of new people that we have been fortunate to have already had here as our guests.

For the more adventurous, Coed y Brenin is Wales' mountain bike Mecca and has flowing single track and rocky technical trails catering for all riders from novice to expert.
Nestling in the foothills of Cader Idris, the hills around the town are criss-crossed with paths and trails through woods, open moorland, along trumbing streams and past panoramic lakes.
