Winkston Farm is a small working farm on the outskirts of Peebles, with beautiful views over the Border Countryside. We are less than 5 minutes from town and buses for Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders pass our driveway at regular intervals throughout the day. Ideally located near to Glentress Mountain Biking Trail Centre as well as the World Class Innerleithen Down hill Trails.
As well as fly fishing on the world renowned River Tweed, other activities include walking, Go Ape, stately homes, shopping in beautiful Borders towns and villages. Visit Scotland have graded our Courtyard Cottages with a highly commended 4 Star Visit Scotland grading which we are rightly very proud of. We can accommodate small, intimate and elopement weddings, offering 4 star quality accommodation within our lovely countryside.
A warm welcome from Jan and a recommend for a good local Italian restaurant. The room was very good size including small sofa and armchair and good en-suite shower and very comfortable bed.

In Peebles itself there is a good sports centre (The Gytes) and swimming pool to suit all the family.
The town offers good quality shops and a weekly outdoor market (on Thursdays).
The area is ideally suited to walking, cycling and horse riding - there is a Riding Centre nearby as well as the mountain biking mecca that is Glentress Forest is on our doorstep ( with access to the forest directly from our holiday accommodation - you don't need to go on any public roads to get there).

Hanisa's photographic work experience began in the 80s and covers fine art, visual story-telling, creative portraiture, travel, documentary, macro and creative landscapes.
These days, it is often through intricate compositing techniques in Photoshop that she is able to put together her visual stories and create her distinct fine art signature appearing in the majority of her work.
Hanisa's open and very friendly Italian personality will make you feel at ease and relaxed the moment you meet her.
