Cliftonville House
Our Victorian property was built in 1891 and has been in my family for over 40 years and has always provided accommodation for people over that time. In fact we have discovered it was being run as a boarding house as far back as 1901! Take a short stroll in to Whitstable town and you will find a wide choice of cafes, bars, restaurants and art galleries.

Some of our fantastic restaurants include the Michelin awarded Sportsman Pub, The Pearsons Arms, Samphires, Wheelers, the internationally renowned Oyster Restaurant, Birdies in Harbour Street and many more. The working harbour is a major attraction especially at weekends. You will find an open air cafe with live music and several art, craft and food stalls.

Cliftonville House has a host of original features including stripped wooden floors throughout and high ceilings which give the rooms a wonderful sense of space and light. The house is elegantly decorated and the White Room and the Lemon Room offer very comfortable accommodation for our guests.
