Eriskay is a family run Guesthouse situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of the Highland town of Aviemore. Aviemore is a popular tourist destination, and with good reason. Lying in the middle of "Monarch of The Glen Country", within the Cairngorms National Park and at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains, it offers a great range of outdoor activities.
Bird watching (notably Ospreys) climbing, hill walking, fishing, stalking, skiing, Strathspey Steam Railway, water sports (on Loch Morlich and Loch Insh) or touring around some of the most beautiful countryside in the Highlands of Scotland are just a few of the pastimes you can enjoy on your holiday. Eriskay is also an ideal base to tour the Highlands from, with Skye, Fort William, Inverness and Loch Ness all being within easy reach.
Eriskay has in the guesthouse one double room, one twin room and one family room. In the garden are four Glamping Pods. All rooms & pods have en-suite facilities, television, tea and coffee making facilities and are centrally heated.

Services
Recently, this part of the Highlands has become known as Monarch of The Glen Country, thanks to the publicity it has received from the BBC series filmed there.
However, as you'll discover, it's much more than a spectacular filmset.
Aviemore, which is within the Badenoch & Strathspey region, really does have something for everyone.
Despite being easily reached from the north or south by road or rail, the area gives one a true feel for the wilderness and spectacular scenery that the Highlands are so well known for.

As well as domestic flights (all year), there are summertime flights from various continental locations to Inverness.
Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports also receive flights from transatlantic locations.
Inverness airport is more relaxing to travel to and closer, but flights are less frequent and may be more expensive than those to Edinburgh or Glasgow airports.
There is a sleeper train that runs directly between London Euston and Aviemore every evening of the week except Saturday.
There is also a good daytime service from Edinburgh.
