We would like to welcome you to Carn Mhor B&B in Aviemore at the heart of the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. There are so many things to see and do in and around the Aviemore area whether it's a leisurely game of golf at one of the Strath's superb courses; fishing for salmon or white water rafting on the River Spey; skiing and snowboarding at the Cairngorm ski area; or taking a stroll through the beautiful surrounding countryside.
We pride ourselves on our comfortable and immaculately maintained accommodation and the delicious range of hot breakfasts we serve complimented by our cold buffet selection. Carn Mhor B&B is located on the outskirts of Aviemore with views of the high tops of the world famous Cairngorms and the Craigellachie National Nature Reserve. However, it is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Aviemore where there are a wealth of restaurants and bars offering a real taste of the Highlands.

Below, you'll find a few words about ourselves, to help you get to know us and feel more at home when you visit.
I look after the home, and I'll be the one that you probably see most of during your time here.
I have worked in the hospitality industry all my life, working in local hotels for the last 15 years, and enjoy meeting new guests and looking after all who stay with us.
I'm kept pretty busy as a full time office assistant at Thain Electrical in the village, so you're likely to see rather less of me as I attempt to keep up with that and the family.

A 4 star attraction for the whole family.
A great day out, with water slides, Tree Top Trails, climbing walls, adventure playground to name but a few.
You can even watch the red squirrels in their native habitat.
A park where you can watch some of the native tundra animals; from bison, otters and grouse to the even more unusual tigers and monkeys.
The train runs every 15 minutes all year round, taking you almost to the top of the Cairngorm Mountain where you can visit the exhibition, shop, viewing area and the highest restaurant in Britain.

Heading from south: Take the turn-off signed Aviemore from the A9 Inverness-Perth road at Lynwilg and then turn left at the junction onto the B9152.
Follow the B9152 into Aviemore.
Continue to head north along the main road (Grampian Road) through Aviemore past Tesco (on left), the village hall, ambulance and fire station (on right) to the far end of the village (approx one mile from entrance markers to village).
The track (not a Tarmac road) is marked by a wooden sign with the name Carn Mhor B&B and is on the last turn-off of the built-up area of Aviemore on the left-hand side (the turn-off is after a large corner house with a conservatory).
