THE BAY is a small, family run boutique bed and breakfast accommodation located in a quiet road just a few minutes' walk from Freshwater Bay in West Wight; an area of outstanding natural beauty. Having had ties to the Island for several decades, in 2014 the owners found this beautiful Victorian property and decided to move full-time to Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight.
A loving and complete restoration took over two years, with a desire to be as eco-friendly as possible. Solar panels provide electricity, heating and hot water; lighting is provided by LEDs and sensors turn lights on and off as required. This, combined with retaining and restoring original Victorian period features, make a spectacular property fit for the 21st century and has led to THE BAY boutique bed and breakfast being certified as Gold standard GreenLeaders by Trip Advisor.
Room one features a king size and single bed with en-suite shower room. Room two can be configured as a twin room or a double with a super-king bed with its own private bathroom.
