Kenmore Bank Bed & Breakfast
Kenmore Bank Bed & Breakfast offers visitors a helpful and friendly atmosphere. The B&B is situated high over the River Jed with panoramic views of the Abbey and the ancient town of Jedburgh. Garden Grounds with riverside view. Dating from at least 1854, the building Kenmore Bank was for many years owned by the local mill until it was renovated to include all modern amenities.

There are always lots of events taking place in the Borders all the year round such as the Edinburgh Tattoo (only 45 minutes away) the RAC Rally, the Borders Cycling Festival. Good base for all activities. There are a variety of friendly golf courses in and around Jedburgh. And for walkers Jedburgh is part of the Scottish Borders Paths network. One of the border abbeys is Jedburgh Abbey, founded by David I around 1138 for Augustinian canons.

The church is built in the Romanesque and early Gothic styles and is remarkably complete. Remains of the cloister buildings have been uncovered and finds from the excavations, including the 12th century 'Jedburgh comb' are on display.
