The Cawdor
What a find! Lovely hotel in a lovely town, accommodation was perfect and the food tremendous, what more can I say! We are also happy to say that our rooms, indoor dining areas as well as our courtyard are all now open for dining once again. For everyone thinking of visiting us we ask that you book a table in advance to guarantee a space. The Cawdor is a great little hotel set in the heart of the historic market town of Llandeilo.

Every bedroom is individually designed blending classic comforts with modern essentials. Llandeilo is a handsome little market town to the east of Carmarthen. As you approach the River Tywi and the Llandeilo stone bridge (built 1848), you will see the multi-coloured Edwardian and Georgian houses that line the street on the entrance to the town. The Cawdor is thrilled to be named in the 'Sunday Times Travel' in the top 100 best hotels in Britain.

It's hard to miss the bright red exterior of this 18th-century hotel in the market town of Llandeilo. Inside, things are more understated, a mix of old-world charm and modern comforts: inviting sofas in the reception, an open fire and a glass of a local tipple await.

We have recently returned from a two night stay at the Cawdor for my husband's 30th birthday.
