Built in the early 1800's, Canterbury House sits in a lovely position close to the River Sid and the National Trust parkland 'The Byes'.
An easy and level 5 minute stroll takes you into the town centre with its excellent variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafe's and onto the picturesque Jurassic Coast seafront, where you can enjoy a walk along the unspoilt esplanade.Canterbury House is also perfectly situated for exploring the delights of the nearby villages and wonderful East Devon and Dorset countryside.
Venturing further afield is easy too in the car or using the excellent bus services. We have comfortable, spacious en-suite bedrooms comprising singles, doubles and twins, including two rooms that are conveniently at ground floor level. All rooms are extremely well appointed and have been designed with your comfort in mind.
