Please note: Only 2 small/medium dogs allowed in The Roaches. The Roaches is our 3 bedroomed detached cottage. Set apart from the main house and with plenty of parking space, it has an outside seating area and a large private enclosed garden to relax and play. The garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs and children. There is plenty of space for games and a decking area with patio furniture for outdoor meals.
There is a bbq available. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped - including a full sized cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. It also has a large stable door and a large window overlooking the garden. The open lounge / dining area. A cozy seating space for watching the 47 inch television, playing board games or reading and relaxing.
The second twin bedroom has bedside cabinets and a small wardrobe. A double wardrobe, chest of drawers, a dressing table with mirror and full length mirror complete the furniture, all solid oak. The Winking Man is first floor which sleeps three people in two bedrooms.

We are ideally situated between Leek (Queen of the Moorlands) and Buxton (a stunning spa town), in our own private grounds with views overlooking the Roaches, the gateway to the gorgeous Peak District.
The location is superb for outdoor activities such as climbing, walking and cycling.
Attractions are too many to mention but include the Chatsworth Estate, Alton Towers, Trentham Gardens and The Pavilion Gardens in Buxton.
For the shopping experience - The Potteries, Bakewell (the cutest, most beautifully kept town in our opinion) and the many markets in the area mean that there is always somewhere to be.
