Located in Staffordshire, within the Staffordshire Peak District and very close to the National Park, Foxtwood provides a fabulous location for all the family. From relaxing breaks for two to an energetic family holiday, you will experience the best of what's on offer within walking distance including stunning wildlife, beautiful scenery, great walks from the door, a pub, tearooms and even the Churnet Valley Steam Railway.
Most of the cottages have a private garden, which are fairly dog secure (depending on your dog!) Outside is a great space, with gardens for games, BBQs, relaxing & fresh air. There is also the fabulous BBQ shelter where you can sit around a fire pit and relax with family or friends. All this is set within 30 acres of ancient woodlands and flower rich meadows bursting with native birds, wildlife and our own Dexter cattle herd.
The Cottages themselves all have woodland, lake or canal views as well as log fires and exceptional kitchens and bathrooms. After a great night's sleep in the peace and quiet, you can explore many of the local attractions and places of interest close to Foxtwood.

Foxtwood Cottages was a self-build project started in 1995.
It took us about four years to complete the shell, finish all the internal work in three cottages, our house and the workrooms.
At this point we decided that we needed to concentrate on getting the gardens and grounds into shape and in the meantime we would see how the business developed.
2011 saw the last cottages finished just in time to start again with some refurbishment and improvement work on the first three.
Then we might have time to look at finishing our own house!

For your comfort the cottages have thermostatically controlled under floor heating and log fires for that special evening in.
Each kitchen is well equipped and includes full-sized hob and oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher and fridge / freezer.
Tea towels, hand towel, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, including environmentally friendly, reuseable, microfibre dish cloths etc. are all supplied - all you should need is your food!.

The garden opens straight off this area so it is easy to take your dinner outside and enjoy sitting out with the birds to enjoy your dining.
Achway while comfortable sleeping five has also been designed for the wheelchair user or lass-able in mind.
The main bathroom is a generous room with both a shower and bath.
