A warm welcome awaits at Sysonby Knoll Hotel, a 3 star hotel on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. This privately run hotel has been in the same family since its life began as a private house in 1965 and over the years many changes have taken place to make it the 30 bedroom hotel it is today. The renowned, on site restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere for both residents and non-residents to enjoy an informal mid-week lunch or evening meal as well as great value Sunday lunches.

Most of our rooms are located up one flight of stairs however we do have rooms on the ground floor so please do let us know on booking if you would prefer a ground floor room or have any other specific requirements.
Please note we don't have any lift at the hotel All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, digital TV and radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

All our standard rooms are located in the main building on the first floor, we have one standard twin bedded rooms and five standard double rooms.
One of our standard doubles can be made into an additional twin room if required - please contact us to discuss this directly.
Some of our single bedded rooms offer a shower only, so please let us know if you would prefer a bath in the room.

The Annexe offers four large rooms decorated in a traditional style.
Three of these rooms are all double rooms offering larger 5ft beds also offering a large sitting area.
For those guests requiring a ground floor room or disabled access, Room 31 our ground floor Executive double room could be a great option.
There is sloped access from reception to the annexe and no steps into the building or into the room.
The Annexe offers four large rooms decorated in a traditional style.
Three of these rooms are all double rooms offering larger 5ft beds also offering a large sitting area.
