The newly refurbished Bank Bar is ideal for parties, dinners, funeral teas, weddings and community gatherings. As part of the refurbishment, we purchased the entire panelling, along with many fixtures and fittings of the late HSBC bank (formerly Midland Bank) in Rhayader.

We take different routes through the hills, valleys, rivers and woodlands each day.
We explore parts of the area that would be difficult to get to on foot, giving you the opportunity to experience the views, wildlife and tranquillity that the Elan Valley has to offer on horseback.
We take out all levels of riding ability from novice to advanced riders.
All our horses are homebred, backed and schooled by us.

Not only are the Radnorshire roads something of a "Mecca" for those that enjoy tarmac under their wheels, Trail Riders also enjoy the greatest choice of green-laning in the country with plenty of mud, bogs, shale, rocks & rivers to be encountered - all within easy reach of the hotel.
If the wonderful Welsh weather does its worst, or you happen to have a close encounter with one of our rivers, our kit drying facilities (even for the largest of groups) are second to none & our baths are hot!
