The Hill Cottage makes a wonderful and peaceful, yet convienent, base for your stay in Northern Ireland. The holiday cottage was converted from an old stone farm building. The back door opens onto the old farm yard with ample car parking space.
French doors open onto a private south facing garden with patio, BBQ and garden furniture. Woodland paths and green lanes round the farm to walk and enjoy. The Hill Cottage lies about 2 miles from the villages of Crossgar and Killyleagh in a peaceful rural setting. Close by is Delamont Country Park on the shores of picturesque Strangford Lough. The Mourne Mountains, Forest Parks, National Trust Properties, excellent Golf Courses and quiet sandy beaches are all nearby.
Riding, Walking, Canoeing and other adventure activities are available locally. A choice of local good restaurants and lively pubs, serving excellent food, are but a short drive away.

The back door opens into the old farm yard (now only used for the owner's Connemara ponies).
The cottage has French doors on the South side opening onto a patio and a private garden with a beautiful view across the countryside to Slieve Croob Mountain in the distance.
Walk to the top of the hill and enjoy views as far as the Mourne Mountains, the Ards Peninsular and the Cave Hill.
