Welcome to my website where you will find cards, hand-printed linocuts, digital prints, illustrated maps and homeware, all inspired by the Northern Irish coastline where I live. Will definitely be buying more as they are such lovely designs and really quality printed cards. This is one of my favorite set of notes to send - makes writing a letter so much more special.

Curlew Cottage Design sits in the rolling Drumlin Hills of County Down, Northern Ireland, close to the shores of Strangford Lough where I walk and sail. This has led to an endless source of inspiration for my art. All the birds and animals in my designs mean something to me but I keep returning to the curlew.
It is a large wading bird with a long curved beak and a beautiful call which seems to embody the wildness of the landscape. It is heading for extinction and on my Curlew Collection page I explain how a donation from products sold will be heading to organisations trying to save this beautiful bird.
