The Royal Lion Hotel prides itself on its dining facilities, offering a variety of options to suit your requirements whilst you are residing with us. From our Standard comfortable rooms, set in both genres of the hotel through to our King Edward room which is the pice de rsistance with a half tester bed in a traditionally styled room. Beautiful building, fantastic staff, very comfy and roomy bedrooms/bathrooms, great service.
The breakfasts are lovely, great selection and lots of local produce, the best black pudding I have had in years. The rooms are serviced quickly and professionally, the bar food is good and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Therefore, we are using a booking system for breakfast, dinner, and the use of the swimming pool. Unfortunately, we are not permitted to re-open the sauna.
Screens are in place in the bar and reception area and staff are wearing masks when moving around the Hotel to ensure both our staff and guests remain safe and well.
