To the west is a pebbly beach great for practising stone skimming, in the centre is the main sandy beach where you can get building sandcastles, while over to the east is the fossil hunting beach.

Spend the day on a fishing boat in the sun, or get really competitive with a round of mini-golf.
If the weather isn't so great there is the aquarium on The Cobb, Dinosaur Land and the Lyme Regis Philpot Museum to visit.
