Services
We live on the Fylde Coast, but have spent much of our spare time travelling to the Lake District to enjoy the many outdoor pursuits that this area has to offer.
We eventually took the plunge and purchased No 39 Bank Terrace at the start of 2012.
We bought this lovely Cottage because of its superb position and its stunning views.
Coniston Village is only a few minutes walk away, yet we are in a very quiet leafy lane overlooking Coniston Water with views across the lake to Grizedale Forest.
We spent the majority of 2012 renovating the cottage and transforming it into a luxurious holiday home, and most importantly, revealing many original features from this 1850 miner's accommodation.

A wonderful stay here - the cottage has been perfect and the area is stunning!
We've loved all the beautiful walks (and of course swimming / paddle boarding in the lake).
A perfect break!
Many thanks Mandy.
Unbelievably good weather.
Took advantage of this and we are all suitably knackered!
Great beer as usual at The Ship, The Sun and Black Bull.
Would advise taking a trip to Seathwaite, Newfield Inn - lovely fresh cooked food, great beer and a stunning drive on the only cloudy day we had.
A fantastic fortnight in this extremely comfortable cottage - one of the best we've stayed in.
