Our claim to fame is that our little village starred in the original hit BBC series All Creatures Great and Small which celebrated the work of James Herriot - very fitting given our location is right at the heart of Herriot Country!
The new series of All Creatures Great and Small was also filmed in the Yorkshire Dales, some filming took place locally at The Green Dragon Inn at Hawdraw.
