Father and son partnership Lewis and David Moss have owned the Wensleydale Heifer for more than 14 years and have created a real family atmosphere at the hotel.
Most of the 20-strong team of front-of-house, chefs, kitchen, house-keeping and other members of the team that make the Heifer the special place it is are long-standing colleagues.
Our guests come from all over Yorkshire to eat and from all over the UK and internationally to stay.
Everyone is welcome, from the smallest members of the family through to those furry friends with four legs (they even get a sausage of their own with breakfast).
