And this year, it does feel like it has been a long winter. It is with much excitement and enthusiasm that we are open again and can welcome you back to Wiveton Hall Caf. Our food is freshly prepared to order, using home-grown and local produce from land, sea and air. Situated on the North Norfolk coast between Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea, Wiveton Hall is a dreamy, flint-faced, Dutch-gabled, Jacobean manor house built in the 17th century.

Its unique atmosphere, combined with the fabulous fresh food on offer in the caf, make it one of North Norfolk's favourite venues. There's a vibrant caf with plenty of space for children to play, an interesting small shop, beautiful gardens to walk around and see the outside of the hall - tickets available from the shop. There are also holiday cottages in the grounds and you can stay in the West Wing of the Hall.

If you want to learn more about the history of Wiveton Hall please join Desmond for one of his historical tours of the garden.
Wiveton Hall was built in 1652 on the site of an earlier building which dated back to 1280.
The land around Blakeney was then owned by a Norman family called De Roos who were approached by Carmelite friars wishing to build a friary.
Land and funds were provided by the De Roos on condition that a house was built for their use mid-way between Cley and Blakeney, no records exist of what it looked like.
Wiveton Hall is growing in popularity as the perfect holiday retreat because of its unique atmosphere and magical surroundings.
There are three beautiful holiday cottages on Marsh Lane and the West Wing of Wiveton Hall which sleeps 9.
They all have incredible views of the marshes and the Marsh Lane Cottages have stunning, uninterrupted views of Cley Windmill.
Staying here is a rare opportunity to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful part of North Norfolk.
Smuggler's Cottage sleeps five and is now available to book following a full renovation.
