In front of you, tucked away behind ancient Holme Oaks, is the 18th century rooftop of Mudgeon Vean Farmhouse. Through the trees is the patchwork of seasonal agriculture, ancient woodland and hedges with a panorama which can be quiet and seductive or unpredictable and fierce. Our newest cottage - come and stay in one of our highly recommended self-catering holiday cottages.
Our Valley View cottage is fully accesible for wheelchair users! You will be able to capture sunsets comparable to the Mediterranean, with dramatic skies and clouds that travel swiftly across the miles of countryside. In the fields grow crops and dairy heifers graze. The farm is still home to many chickens, ducks, 2 turkeys, cats, dogs, as well as numerous species of wildlife.
We have an enclosed children's play area with baby and child swings, climbing frame tunnel and slide. An area to play football, cricket and swingball. There is also an indoor playroom with table tennis and pool table - ideal for the older ones to hang out.
