We are a friendly, family-run bed and breakfast establishment offering high levels of service in comfortable and homely surroundings. Our Victorian town house has 10 en-suite bedrooms of various size, each one comfortably furnished with many period features throughout. We are not a boutique hotel and we do not offer chic rooms - sorry. The overriding emphasis at The Fairmile is cleanliness and service and providing value for money.
The many positive and complimentary comments we receive in our Guest Book are testament to the service we offer. Attention to detail is important and nowhere is this more evident than at breakfast time.

The town centre is generally busy with a mixture of High Street chains and smaller independent retailers.
The many cafes provide seating inside and out and a wide variety of restaurants provide food for all tastes and budgets.
