We can cater to all visitors who are visiting or working in Dumfries and Galloway. Accommodation can be provided on a b&b or Room Only basis depending on the individual needs.

Below is a list of every owner known since the pub became the White Hart, 170 years ago.
He was the first to give the hotel the White Hart name and he held the licence for 6 years.
He held the licence for 5 years and the 1851 census shows he lived here with his wife and two sons.
All court licence records have been lost and all surviving duplicate licences for these periods have been checked.

Dumfries Ice Bowl is a few minutes walk from the hotel and comprises a dedicated Ice Hockey / Ice Skating Rink as well as a dedicated Curling Rink.
The facility is used by local and regional clubs and hosts national and international competitions.
Robert Burns House is a few minutes walk from the hotel and is the house in which he was born, and where his family lived during the height of his fame until his death.
