The Ferns Guest House
Sarah and Mark offer a warm welcome to the Ferns, our friendly and comfortable B&B, here in beautiful Betws-y-Coed, "Gateway" to Snowdonia. We are ideally located for exploring Snowdonia's attractions and adventures. Please visit our Guest Information page for the latest on what the "new normal" looks like at The Ferns. Our B&B is situated on the main street of Betws-y-Coed, just 5 minutes walking distance of all of the village's restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

All of our bedrooms are freshly decorated with comfortable beds, en-suite shower rooms and views of the majestic Gwydyr Forest which surrounds the village. We can accommodate individual travellers, couples, families and small groups. All our bedrooms have flat-screen TVs, generous tea & coffee trays, toiletries, towels and hairdryers. Comfortable lounge where you can meet and relax at the end of the day or before venturing out.

Our B&B is only a 20 minute drive to two of Snowdon's main footpaths, the PYG Track and Miners Path, and about 35 minutes to Llanberis for the Llanberis Path and Snowdon Mountain Railway.
Services
Each of our rooms have their own unique look and have been decorated and comfortably furnished in a fresh contemporary style.
Compact modern en-suite shower, wash-basin and w/c (please note: wash-basin is located in bedroom).
Located at the front of the house it enjoys fantastic views across the Conwy valley to the forest beyond.
Located at the front of the house it has views across the front garden to valley and forest beyond.
Quaint little window giving views to the front of the house, over the valley to the forest beyond.
The 'ch' letter is always pronounced as the Scottish 'loch' and never as the 'ch' in English such as in "chimney" or "much".
The letter 'll' is a little more difficult.
Try saying the letter 'l' (with your tongue touching the roof of your mouth), and then breathe in sharply through the sides of your mouth.
Now try and recreate that same sound breathing out.that is 'll'.
