We are ideally situated for the Hadrian's Wall and Cumbria Way paths both being approx. 0.5 miles away We work closely with all the main baggage transfer companies and we have secure storage for bicycles. Howard Lodge is situated approx. 0.25 miles for Carlisle city centre where you can visit attractions such as Carlisle Castle, Carlisle Cathedral and the award-winning Tullie House Museum along with good shopping facilities and many bars and restaurants.
If you would like to venture further afield, The Lake District, Southern Scotland, The Solway Coast and Hadrian's Wall visitor centres are all within driving distance, with buses and trains also serving some of these locations.

From the M6 follow signs for Carlisle City Centre, this is the A69 Warwick Road, continue along this road passing through 5 sets of traffic lights, Howard Lodge is just after the 5th set on the left hand side.
We are approx.
0.5 miles ( 5 - 10 minute walk) from the railway station, When you leave the station cross straight over the road onto The Crescent.
Follow The Crescent round, with The Citadel on your left, and then turn first right into Warwick Road.
