East Dyke Farm B&B is set above the historic and beautiful fishing village of Clovelly on the North Devon coast, overlooking open fields and the sea. We are a 500 acre working farm. Just behind the Farmhouse you will find The Clovelly Dykes, a 2000 year old Iron Age hill fort which visitors are free to explore at their leisure. Our delightful 19th century Farmhouse is situated on a quiet country road approximately 1.5 miles from the village of Clovelly and the South West Coastal footpath.

Ideally situated for exploring the area and further afield. The house itself is full of character with open fires, flagstone floors and exposed beams. The rooms are very comfortable spacious and light, furnished with antiques and period furniture. Look out of your window in the morning and amongst the cattle grazing in the fields you may well spot a Deer, Fox or passing Pheasant.

Our online booking system (just go to the BOOK DIRECT section) is open for you to check availability and make your bookings.
Services
We have 2 bedrooms available.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable with crisp linens and big fluffy towels, fully equipped with many thoughtful extras to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Each room has digital TV/radio, a fridge, hairdryer, bathrobes, hospitality tray with a large selection of drinks and fresh milk, a Nespresso coffee machine, fresh flowers, magazines, alarm clock & toiletries etc.
Room 3 is a large double ensuite room with a 6ft superking bed and stunning views across the fields to the sea.
Breakfast is a bit of a speciality here.
All cooked on the trusty AGA, all produce is fresh and local (wherever possible - but I've yet to find a Devon grapefruit or Mango supplier!).
The eggs come from our own hens; all the bacon and sausages are produced on local farms not more than 20 miles away.
The fish is all locally sourced, with Kippers smoked in South Devon and Salmon smoked in Cornwall.
The bread is either home produced or from our local family bakery in Bideford.
All the Jams and marmalades are homemade and the Honey comes from the nearby market town of Holsworthy.
From the A39 (main holiday route between Bideford & Bude) at Clovelly Cross roundabout and filling station take the B3237 to Clovelly (this is the only road to Clovelly village).
Drive past a row of cottages on your left on past Dyke Green Farm on your left.
Drop down the hill and when you see the road sign which says Clovelly 1 mile on your left we are the house directly behind the sign.
Turn left into East Dyke Farm, there is plenty of off road parking (some covered) behind the Farmhouse.
We are perfectly situated above the wonderful village of Clovelly where the cobbled street meanders to the harbour; unchanged for generations and well worth a visit.
There are many beaches both sandy (Bude or Westward Ho!) or small rocky coves in easy reach.
The dramatic coastline of the Hartland peninsular should not be missed, enjoy the staggering cliffs and beach at Hartland Quay, or visit Hartland point and see the old lighthouse.
If you like visiting historic properties look no further than Hartland Abbey (much of the BBCs Sense & Sensibility was filmed here) the National Trust property Arlington Court close to Barnstaple or Tapeley Park at Instow.
