Brynarth Country Guest House
Brynarth Country Guest House offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation near Aberystwyth, Mid Wales, nestled within the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, amongst some of the most stunning scenery in the Ystwyth Valley. We have secure storage for cycles and sheltered, hard standing parking for motorcycles. The perfect location for those guests who enjoy walking, cycling and wildlife in a peaceful, tranquil setting.

This 17th Century farmhouse and its barns have been tastefully and sympathetically renovated in keeping with Brynarth's age and time in history. From cosy guest rooms bursting with character, a warm welcome from the log fires in the inglenook fireplace, a licensed snug bar, to the 2 acres of bluebell woods included within 8 acres of grounds and gardens.

Whatever the season or weather it really is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We are ideally located to visit the many attractions this area has to offer, including the beautiful Ceredigion Coast Path, Devils Bridge Falls, the Vale of Rheidol Railway and the Ystwyth & Elan Valley.
Services
Having enjoyed many holidays in this part of Wales and never wanting to leave we decided to take the plunge and move here.
After a four hour viewing (and with a great deal of patience from the former owners), by the time we had driven back to our home town of Leicester we had already made the move in our heads.
With backgrounds in Graphic Design and Landscape Gardening (and neither of us having ever done anything like this before) we both had a lot to learn and limited time to learn it!
Brynarth had been converted into a Country Guest House in the 1970's and our predecessors had looked after and restored it to it's former glory without changing any of its simplistic character and tranquillity.
Our comfy guest rooms are uniquely decorated with a traditional and homely feel, and full of character.
Rooms 1 and 2 are situated in the main farmhouse with the rest of the rooms just across the courtyard in the Old Dairy Barn.
Each room has a wonderful view of either the grounds and gardens or the surrounding valley and countryside.
All rooms are centrally-heated, have radio alarm clocks and hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary Welsh toiletries and Egyptian cotton towels.
Located on the first floor in the main farmhouse, this superior king room has an en-suite with shower, a king-size bed & its own seating area with windows looking out over the garden & pond with scenic views across the hillside.
We do not allow dogs to stay in Room 1, this is because we provide anti-allergenic bedding in this room and must ensure as best we can that it remains safe for those with fur/feather allergies.
Offer is based on the Bed & Breakfast price only and applies only to bookings made direct with Brynarth, not via any booking agents.
Situated on the first floor of The Old Dairy Barn, this Suite consists of one bedroom with twin beds or large queen bed, a dining/sitting room with table and chairs and two easy chairs and bathroom with bath.
Superb views of the surrounding valley and countryside.
Offer is based on the Bed & Breakfast price only and applies only to bookings made direct with Brynarth, not via any booking agents.
Why not treat someone special to a weekend break in Wales, we can send you Brynarth Gift Vouchers to give them and also arrange for chocolates and flowers to be put in their room.
Brynarth is ideally located to visit the many attractions this area has to offer, including the beautiful Ceredigion Coast Path, Devils Bridge Falls, the Vale of Rheidol Railway and the Ystwyth & Elan Valley.
We are also close enough to easily enjoy the bustling coastal towns of Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and New Quay.
For those guests who wish to see more of Wales but like to stay in one place, Brynarth is an excellent base for exploring not only Mid Wales but North Wales and South Wales as well.
