It is an ideal place to unwind on a short break. The Chantry is a Grade 2 Listed Georgian Town house dating from 1780, with an adjoining Tudor annexe dating from the 16th Century.

The Chantry is a grade 2 listed Georgian town house dating from 1780.
The building has many of its original features, as does the adjoining Tudor annexe, which dates from the 16th Century.
We have fourteen non-smoking bedrooms.
The archway at the side of the hotel leads to off-street parking, with a space for each room.
The rooms have a flat screen Freeview television, en-suite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities.
The rooms have been individually styled to blend with the historic origins of the property and are complemented by gleaming white bathrooms with contemporary wooden or slate floors.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am - 9.00am on weekdays (8.00am - 9.30am weekends and bank holidays) and there is a wide choice to appeal to all tastes.
Access to the off road car park is through a gated archway at the side of the main building.
The car park has a space for each of the 14 bedrooms.

The lounge and bar is situated on the ground floor where you can relax and enjoy a selection of drinks, books and parlour games.

The Chantry hotel stands on the site of a Chantry chapel, which dates back to the 12th century.
The main building is essentially Georgian and is adjoined by houses over four hundred years old, one of which has been incorporated into the hotel as the Tudor annexe.
The building is grade 2 listed and stands in the heart of the Bury conservation area.
On-site parking for each room is provided through a 19th century carriage access into what was formerly the yard of the local coach builder, Thomas de Carle.
