Hikers can be facilitated by drop-off and collect, packed lunches and laundry facilities. For those interested in exploring heritage there is Knockmany chambered cairn, Beaghmore Stone Circles, Errigal Keerogue Cross, St Patrick's chair and well and Tullyhogue fort.
