North Hill Farm is set on a hilltop overlooking one of the most lovely valleys in Shropshire. The majestic views take in a panorama of the Shropshire Hills from Wilstone Hill to Wenlock Edge. The ideal place for anyone who loves the peace of the countryside, whilst being central for Shropshire's many attractions. The farm offers bed and breakfast to suit all pockets from 75 per double room per night, including a cottage also available for self-catering.

See the accommodation page for price details. Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Ironbridge are all around 30 minutes away by car and it's just a short drive to Acton Scott Historic Farm. NB. North Hill Farm is home to horses, dogs and cats as well as sheep and chickens - so is not suitable for those with animal allergies.
Services
Shropshire remains one of the least discovered gems of Britain - it's a great place to simply stand and stare.
The county is comparatively unspoiled - it has that elusive air of time warp, people are polite and friendly and they seem to have time to spare.
Apart from Housman's Blue Remembered Hills and the evocative writing of Mary Webb and Malcolm Saville, Shropshire pops up in all sorts of unexpected places, mentioned incidentally in books and films as somewhere desirable and far away.
Within easy driving distance of the conurbations of the Midlands and the North it is a world apart and many guests have said over the years: "We didn't realise it was like this, so close to us."
Red Kite is a stone-built cottage room with a kitchen and private terrace.
This comfortable and spacious room is ideal for a longer 'get-away-from-it-all' stay and is also available for self-catering, with optional breakfast.
Chaffinch is our courtyard room, a ground floor double-bedded en suite room with a wonderful view of the valley.
It has a walk-in shower with handrails so is suitable for semi-ambulant visitors.
Now with in-room refrigerator.
Nuthatch is a comfortable double-bedded room in the main house with a choice of private bathrooms.
I've been running North Hill as a b and b for 20 years so just a few words about myself.
I used to be a journalist but we started offering accommodation in 2002 when I was editing a regional farming paper.
By 2004 we were getting much busier and I had to decide which course to follow.
But I haven't given up writing and I've made time in between running the place and during quieter periods to write two novels under the pen name Frances Brand.
My second book Adam's Ark was written last year during the lockdowns.
